煤桃美食俱乐部｜Coal Peach Food Club

这是一场对复杂问题研究所主办 "生态演化" 跨学科研访项目圆满结束的聚会宴，Anne-Laure Franchette 和 Gabriel Gee (TETI艺术组织) 将于7月30日星期日组织一场“煤桃美食俱乐部”。

“煤桃“一方面指的是工业生产和历史，另一方面指的是乡村环境和想象，这两者在21世纪初，都处于剧烈的突变中。

因此，煤桃美食俱乐部作为邀请，通过叙述在上海大都市日常消费的食物，共同探索全球力量和地方创新联系下的工业生态和领土转型领域。我们鼓励客人们带一道菜来回应“煤桃”的主题，可以是熟食、小点心、大砂锅菜，甚至是预制菜、原料，讲述我们与自然世界的关系，在越来越科技的社会里。我们期待嘉宾们在一个非正式的环境中分享他们与食物、烹饪、厨房有关的故事。

在美食派对的同时，还将会有小展示，呈现 Franchette和Gee在两周的研究旅程中收集的物品。

To conclude their research tour hosted by the Complex Issues Institute, Anne-Laure Franchette and Gabriel Gee (TETI Group) invite you to a Coal Peach Food Club on Sunday July 30th.

Coal Peach refers on the one hand to industrial production and history, and on the other to rural environments and imaginaries, both of which are in the process of radical mutations in the early 21st century.

Coal Peach Food club is thus an invitation to collectively explore the realm of industrial ecologies and territorial transformations at the nexus of global forces and local innovation, as seen through food that is consumed daily in the Shanghai metropolis. Guests are encouraged to bring a dish responding to the Coal Peach theme, that can take the form of ready-to-eat food, small nibbles, large casserole, or even raw ingredients, that speak about our relation to the natural world in ever-more technological societies. Guests will be encouraged to share stories about their culinary contribution in an informal setting.

The Food Club will be accompanied by a display-en-valise showcasing objects collected by Franchette and Gee during their two weeks research journey.

策划人介绍

Anne-Laure Franchette

苏黎世艺术家，拥有艺术史DEA和纯艺硕士学位，目前是富兰克林大学的客座教授。基于对反叙事、社会尊严层级秩序的兴趣，她的作品着眼于劳工、流通、物质性的等问题。她拥有双重社会经历，通过在地研究、档案查询、创意写作和装置等来实现跨媒体实践。她发起并共同编辑了苏黎世艺术空间指南，通过DIY和合作实践，列出了当地艺术家领导的独立策展实践。她还联合创立并策划了VOLUMES组织（Jan Tschichold奖，2022），该组织研究和协同与编辑和出版相关的艺术形式。她还是跨学科研究小组TETI（Textures and Experiences of Trans-Industriality）的主要成员。该小组汇集了艺术家、电影制作人、历史学家、艺术史学家、建筑师和作家。该组织的活动形式包括研讨会、展览、讲座、拍摄采访、散步、烹饪和出版。

Gabriel N. Gee

巴黎南泰尔大学当代艺术史博士。他在富兰克林大学教授当代艺术史和理论。他目前的研究兴趣包括二十世纪英国和爱尔兰艺术，港口城市不断变化的表现和想象，以及相互关联的全球历史。他是TETI的联合创始人。

Gabriel Gee is an art historian and writer based in Zurich and Lugano (TETI Group, Franklin University, CH)
